Cyberarts 2011 - International Compendium Prix Ars Electronica 2011

Somewhere in the former Soviet Union, a bunch of child monstrosities introduce themselves to a camera and tell us about the gifts they've chosen for Mother's Day, and tell us they are in a hurry to get there.

Once inside this huge, desolate concrete building we discover that the nuclear plant is not as empty as we believed. It seems the kids’ imagination has spread further than on paper, and we discover who the “mother” really is. As it turns out, the kids are not alone, and the crew sent to clean up the radioactive plant destroy their love and playground. The kids do not give up without a fierce fight.

In the end, they get back to the orphanage, to reality.
